I have been trying for several days to get this plugin to work with no success. I’ve set up the template page, pod, and pages but on the content page it doesn’t associate with the template I assigned to the pod. I also need the template to show within a custom layout. I tried to use magic tags but they didn’t show up.
I watched the Pod tutorials on youtube and followed the setup info on this site.
Any help you can give me I would sooooooo appreciate it.
if anyone can tell me what I am doing wron it would be most appreciated. I have been working on this for over a week now and I still can’t get it to work
/* Template Name: christian_speakers3*/
<?php get_header(); ?>
<?php pods_content(); ?>
<?php get_footer(); ?>
There is quite a bit of configuration that you need to do to get your pods to display properly. One of the things that is a stumbling block for beginners:
You need to be sure that "pretty" permalinks are enabled under the WordPress Settings tab.
This article: http://mondaybynoon.com/2010/01/04/pulling-pods-data/ addresses the basics of pulling pods data to your theme pages. My guess is that your page template needs to be a little more elaborate than what you have posted above.
