Thank you so much Pods. Pods is so powerful. Saved many hours for me to develop plugin.
I just wonder if is possible to create a simple form like contact us form on frontend with Pods? I want to store the form submission data in the backend and sent the data by email as well. Is that doable with with Pods. If so, any tutorial?
Yeah, definitely doable. Shouldn’t take too much effort, just depends on the functionality you’d like. I don’t have much time to put together a tutorial for you or guide you any further right now, I’m working on Pods 2.0 as we speak.
Use publicform and wpmail command as a post-save helper
More info abour publicform http://podscms.org/codex/publicform
More info about wpmail http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_mail
Or you could just use the WordPress contact form and it’ll do that stuff for you: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/contact-form-7/
I’m with Becksr. You can use Pods or you can use a 3rd party plugin. If you decide to use Pods publicForms and need help with it, just let us know and we’ll assist.
