I’ve tried it on two sites using WordPress 3.0.1 and Pods 1.9.0 and i get this on the pods item edit screen:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function pods_tinymce() in /home… …/wp-content/plugins/pods/ui/input_fields.php(37) : eval()’d code on line 27July 30, 2010 at 1:55 pm #165411

Hi, I had similar problem. It is not only package, but you have to install and activate also WordPress plugin (you can download it on package page).August 4, 2010 at 1:29 pm #165412
Ah!! added the plugin and the error is now gone, but the tinymce editor is still not working. This is all i get on edit pages:
The toolbar never loads…August 4, 2010 at 2:36 pm #165413

Looks like it’s a package problem:
Tested it in google chrome & firefox, both unlucky. I guess some browsers just ignore those errors or they appear at some wordpress configurations; in any way I don’t understand much in JS, so i don’t know how to fix it.August 6, 2010 at 6:45 am #165414
I know scott is currently working on the plugin so there may be a few errors. Sit tight though, hes doing some really great stuff to get it working and we will all appreciate it a ton.August 11, 2010 at 9:45 pm #165415
Tested latest version of the TinyMCE package (1.0.1) and doesn’t appear to be working. The editor shows up fine and lets me edit the content, but when I’m done and click save the page just hangs and the POD doesn’t save. IE shows errors on page as follows:
‘nicEditor’ is undefined (admin.php | Line 315). Perhaps I installed something incorrectly?
In any case, really appreciate your effort on this Scott. This will be a great improvement once it’s functional.August 13, 2010 at 4:38 am #165416
@jdinsmore – Do you get this error when you have a form with no Paragraph fields too?
@Fike – What field name are you using? Where are you using the form? I have not worked on getting it functional on a non-wp-admin page.
@Stefan – What field name are you using? Also, are you up to date on both Pods and Pods UI? And where are you pulling the form up at?August 13, 2010 at 8:47 pm #165417
@scOttkclark – I don’t get this error on forms with no Paragraph fields. It’s only on forms that have paragraph fields that I can’t save.August 13, 2010 at 9:47 pm #165418

@scottclark – sorry, i don’t remember exactly, but it was description field named ‘comment’ (i don’t have any others). I was testing it through standard admin page or Pods UI plugin. The current version works totally fine.August 14, 2010 at 4:14 am #165419August 15, 2010 at 3:55 pm #165420
Ok, i’ve installed v 1.0.1 and it’s still not working. I can’t even type anything in the textbox now…August 15, 2010 at 5:12 pm #165421
@Stefan – Could you perhaps provide access to your WP? You’ve got my e-mail addy.August 25, 2010 at 11:18 pm #165422
Curious if anyone has had luck getting the TinyMCE editor to work using this package? Installs fine and the editor shows up but I’m not able to save my POD if a paragraph field is using any of the TinyMCE input helpers.September 15, 2010 at 3:37 pm #165423
Solved the problem I was having with saving PODS that used TinyMCE. My POD had multiple (desc) columns and I when I tested I was only using TinyMCE on one column and NiceEdit on the others. Once I switched all the columns to TinyMCE everything worked and I was able to save.March 15, 2011 at 11:55 pm #165424

(sorry, reposting this as an "answer" after I realized I should have done that instead of adding it as a comment)
I know this is a little old now, but I wanted to see if anyone else has had the issue I’m running into.
I got the addon to run just fine. TinyMCE comes up and performs as expected except for one thing (the very thing I needed most to work, of course) – the button to add a link does not work. It becomes active once I’ve highlighted some text that I want to add a link for, but then when I click on the link button I get no response. I can click on it repeatedly and it’s a dead button – no action taken.
In regular wordpress pages and posts it works without issue.
Anyone else run into this problem?
