Correct me if I’m wrong, but shouldn’t Pod + PodAPI really live as one in regards to pod items (save_pod_item / drop_pod_item / etc to live in the Pod class as save / drop / etc)? Thoughts?

Been destroying Pods and PodsAPI classes for the past week, lots of progress! Finished sweeping mysql_* and DB structure changes across Pods and PodsAPI classes, all that’s left is the publicForm reworking out of the two. Next is Admin UI / Form UI work. Well, back to the salt mines — ta ta!
Just a quick update, it’s been taking me a long time to finish up the huge DB updates including updating the DB usage through all of the files to remove any reference to mysql_* functions. I’m *almost* done with the PodsAPI class, which is by far one of the biggest ones that needs the updates. …
